Our Commitment
Why Buy Durian at Durian Khakha?
We Own the Farm
Our orchard is in Bukit Serampang, Tangkak, Johor — the same family has worked this land since 1995. We know every tree. There is no wholesale middleman between the orchard and your hands.
Drop Durian Only
We sell only naturally fallen (drop) durian — fruit that detached from the tree when fully ripe. We do not force-harvest or sell unripe fruit. Drop durian has higher sugar content and peak aroma.
No Overnight Cold Storage
Durian is transported from farm to stall on the same day. No chilling between harvest and sale. Cold storage dulls aroma and changes texture — we avoid it entirely.
Registered Varieties, Honest Labels
Every variety we sell carries its DOA registration number. We don't label unregistered durian as premium clones. What you see on the sign is what you eat.
Priced by Whole Fruit Weight
We weigh the whole fruit before opening. We can then open it in front of you and scoop the flesh into a container for takeaway or delivery. No surprises.
Honest Advice, No Upsell
Not sure which variety suits you? Tell us your preference — sweet, bitter-sweet, creamy, or dry — and we'll match you to the right fruit. We don't push the most expensive option.
Groups
Hosting a group at the stall?
We run durian buffets here for groups of 8 or more — you tell us your budget, and we build the spread from that morning's drop. Birthdays and company events welcome.

Yes. We own the farm. Fruit moves from Bukit Serampang to Melaka Mall on the same day with no cold chain. We sell drop durian only — naturally fallen when ripe, not force-harvested. You can verify by smell (full pungent aroma) and texture (no watery or rubbery flesh from cold damage).
Main durian season in Peninsular Malaysia runs roughly May – August. Tangkak and Muar in Johor are among the most productive durian regions and follow this window, sometimes extending into September. A shorter inter-season can occur November – January depending on rainfall. Exact dates shift year to year. Always WhatsApp before visiting.
We weigh the whole fruit before opening. We then open it in front of you and scoop the flesh into a container for takeaway or delivery. Price per kg varies by variety (RM20–45/kg) and season.
For first-timers: D168 IOI (红肉) — pure cream sweetness, no bitterness, mild aroma. D226 Fu Ming is also approachable: sweet, clean, no bitter finish. Avoid D197 Musang King as your first experience if you're unsure about bitterness — it has a strong gam-pahit (bitter-sweet) profile that some love immediately and others need to develop a taste for.
