About · Durian Khakha 榴莲咔咔
From a tree we know.
We don't buy durian to resell — we grow it. Every fruit on our table comes from our own orchard in Bukit Serampang, Tangkak, so we can stand behind exactly what we hand you.
Our story
One orchard. One name behind every fruit.
Durian Khakha began as a small family orchard in the hills of Bukit Serampang, Tangkak, Johor. From the start, the idea has stayed the same: grow durian, let it ripen on the tree, and bring it straight to the people who love it — the way a vineyard sells its own wine, or a small farm presses its own olive oil. One origin, one name behind it.
That's the whole meaning of "from a tree we know": the fruit we sell is never a mystery to us. We know the trees it came from, when it dropped, and how it should taste.
The name
Why "Khakha"?
Khakha (咔咔) is a sound. When you shake a ripe durian, the flesh inside has loosened just enough to make a soft, muffled shift — a sound most people never notice, but every durian grower listens for. It's how we tell, by ear, that a fruit is ready. We named ourselves after it.
How we do it
Grown by us, sold by us.
Our own orchard
Every durian comes from our farm in Bukit Serampang. We know each fruit's trees, its variety, and the morning it dropped.
Naturally dropped
We let fruit ripen on the tree and fall on its own. Naturally dropped durian builds fuller flavour than fruit cut early to survive transport.
Same-day fresh
Fruit moves from the orchard to our Melaka stall the same day it drops. No overnight cold storage — what you eat is what fell that morning.

Wholesale & agency partners
We work with a small number of agencies who want a farm with a story to tell — not second-day fruit. If you're looking for a reliable single-origin supplier to grow with long-term, talk to us.
